It has been a while since the last time I updated anything on DeviantArt. In fact, it has been too long. TOO LONG. You might be asking yourselves, "Why is that exactly?"
Well allow me to explain in this BIG LIFE UPDATE!
For those of you who did not know, I was attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for quite some time. As of December, 2014, I finally graduated the Academy with my BACHELOR'S Degree (a bachelor's of fine arts degree to be precise). Five years of hard work has finally paid off. And now that I have graduated, I have been trying to spend some time finding a new job that is actually in my field, NOT IN RETAIL. Naturally, this has kept be pretty busy.
On top of that, on March 7th this year, I also got MARRIED (to the beautiful woman at pookiepony.deviantart.com/). Check out her work too if you get the chance, she is also a fantastic artist here on DA (and also graduated from the Academy with me with the same degree at the same time). Married only a few short months after graduating is a little crazy I know, but hey, I've only been with her for over 8 years now. Naturally, these two things have kept me BUSY.
Since graduating and getting married, I've been trying to improve my life and think on the positive side of things, which isn't always easy. There are a lot of things that can weigh a person down, but honestly I currently feel blessed and am in a good place right now.
Now comes the question of my artwork. When will you see more of it? What have I been doing? Have I been doing anything? Honestly I have been a little bad and haven't been drawing as much as I should be, but I am starting to change that. I do have a graphic novel to write and draw so I need to hop on that so I can spoil you guys with some amazing goodness. I have been picking up small quick commissions here and there, but really, I am not happy with my hiatus and I plan on fixing all that.
Anyways, hopefully this answers some questions my followers might have had and I hope that you all are living as blessed as I feel today too! Questions? Comments? Ask away, I will gladly answer everything to the best of my abilities.
